Not exactly the same, obviously, but it kind of looks like the Prius’ rear was designed by someone who had once heard a description of the LFA by a drunk guy at a noisy bar.

Also, in person, the new prius doesn’t look 100% terrible. Especially compared to every previous generation of the Prius. Prius C still wins (amoung Priuii) hands down in the looks department, though.

I like the new Prius. I think it looks fantastic. More mainstream cars need to look over-the-top.

Gonna have to push back on that. I usually hate when people compare two totally different cars (see Mustang/Accord or Fusion/Rapide) but I am really seeing similarities here. The taillights are roughly the same shape and are positioned the same way above two large black vents on either side of a blacked out diffuser. To say they look completely different is...cmon, it's a stretch.
